Do the hard things

It’s almost guaranteed that you’ll feel better after doing hard things – the type of things that you don’t feel like doing.

Doing a hard workout, waking up early, initiating a difficult discussion, finishing a difficult course, speaking on stage, breaking up from a toxic relationship.

I had a difficult call with a business associate yesterday. Before the call, I was dreading, conflicted, playing all sorts of scenarios in my head and contemplating.

But after the call – I immediately felt a sense of relief. All the pent-up pressure/stress released. It quickly reminded me of the feeling you get after completing a really hard workout.

Do the hard things. You’ll feel a lot better after.
